A few days ago, my good friend sent me some information on an event being held at the new
Staples concept store in Toronto. The grand opening was today, and I attended the Joe Mimran keynote event.
Joe Mimran is a Former Dragon on
CBC's Dragon's Den, and is known for founding a number of established Canadian brands, such as
Alfred Sung,
Club Monaco, and
Joe Fresh. The talk was incredibly entertaining, informative, and inspirational.
The new store looks amazing, and I enjoyed checking out the
Staples Studio, which is a membership-based collaborative coworking space for the creative and entrepreneurial community. This was the first event in the weekly Spotlight Speaker Series. You can sign up for upcoming events
