1. Ferme Guy Rivest Strawberry Cranberry Jam
Such a delicious jam!! It is light and not too sweet - the cranberry provides a little bit of tartness that contrasts nicely with the sweetness of the strawberry.
2. Wendell Estate Creamed Raw Prairie Honey
This honey is my new obsession... it is incredibly tasty. It's an odd combination of light yet creamy and complex. Apparently, this honey was on Dragon's Den.
3. Elisa's Gluten Free Goodness Peanut Butter Cookie
A very light peanut butter cookie. This too was delicious.
4. Grainstorm Ancient Grain Pancake and Waffle Mix
I made the entire bag of mix (serves 6). I made a combination of pancakes and waffles (the latter with the Hello Kitty waffle maker my friend bought me years ago)... and I was worried we would not be able to eat them all because the pancakes looked so dense coming out of the pan. I figured we would just freeze them... but we ended up eating the majority of them because they were so light and fluffy! They tasted very healthy as well. Instead of freezing the rest, we nibbled on cold pancakes and waffles throughout the day, smeared generously with the Wendell Estate honey.
I am loving the monthly Tasting Box by Foodie Pages! I purchased the October box too, but it was a little light (all chocolate) and I didn't get the video filmed before we gobbled up a bunch of the goodies. I did take photos though and I hope to have the blog post up soon. I also purchased the November box, which I opened today and it looks fabulous!
